Psychotherapy
We all need help. We are social creatures that thrive on connection. None of us are built to move through this life alone. I believe that the point of any therapy is to increase our awareness. The quality of all of our relationships is a direct function of our relationship to ourselves. Knowing ourselves makes us more effective and fulfilled in all of our relationships - We are not just one person throughout our lives, but many different people. A big part of being human is change, which is great but can also be confusing. As a therapist, I hope to help people navigate the transitions in their lives with grace and dignity.
Treatment Placement
Sometimes seeing a therapist is not enough. When someone needs, or wants, to go to get more intensive treatment there are tons of options. Too many options. I spend a considerable amount of time visiting treatment centers all over the country to meet their clinicians and to see what their current level of care is.
